These days, it's hard to stand out in the crowd when it comes to book marketing. Harlan Coben doesn't really need the extra help, but for his current book tour promoting the release of his latest Myron Bolitar book, Long Lost, he decided to team up with Australian singer Missy Higgins. Tomorrow, April 5th, the duo will appear at the Houston, Texas, Firehouse Saloon, an event coordinated by Murder by the Book.
If you're wondering how the pair teamed up for this tour, Missy's aunt came across
a quote from one of Missy's songs in a previous Coben novel, Hold Tight, and decided to put the two in touch. While promoting Hold Tight, Missy
and Coben did a joint event in New York City that was a rousing
success, so they decided to do it again with Long Lost. In addition to Houston, they will be hitting the road together with events
scheduled in San Francisco, San Diego, St. Louis, Chicago,
and Boston.
