This sounds like a book I might like to read if I can track it down. Sometimes I'm just in the mood for something light - in between the 'heavy' books.

Funny thing is, I've yet to find a mystery set in the publishing business that is a knock-out. But I keep looking. :)

I always feel sad when I see people nominated for awards years ago that never went on to great fame.

And yet I wonder -- since I haven't been able to find out anything about Marie R. Reno, it must be a pseudonym; perhaps the pen name of another author more famous who doesn't want to admit it? Still, if this was the sum total of her writing career (with the exception of one Civil War romance later attributed to her), then, yes, it is kinda sad.

I know what you mean Yvette -- this particular book is fairly light and not exactly a "knockout" book about the publishing industry, something I'd also like to see. Any one out there with some suggestions?
