Fans of the Dexter series can relax. Variety reported that Showtime has renewed the show for a fourth AND a fifth season.
On the opposite end of the scale, fans of ABC's Life on Mars can't breathe easily just yet. The drama, which was based on a British show and features a cop who is transported back to the 1970s, dropped one-third from its premiere ratings, losing out to CBS' crime drama Eleventh Hour and NBC's ER.
Variety is also reporting that remake fever continues to plague (er, inspire) Hollywood, with several new projects in the works, including CBS which is investigating revivals of both Hawaii Five-O and The Streets of San Francisco.
