George Kelley

I've always thought that Dell Shannon was an underrated writer.

BV Lawson

I know, George! She had a lot of fans during her day, and I was surprised she hadn't even been featured on FFB yet, with that many novels to her credit. I'll have to see if the library has some of the other pen names and compare her other characters to Mendoza.

I have all of her detective/police books, under all of those names. I go back and read them every 5 - 10 years and enjoy them more each time.

BV Lawson

Wow, Gram, that's amazing! Maybe you can post a few of your favorites for folks to track down.

Roz Kutler

Found Death of a Busybody at a Friends of the Library sale and have been reading and collecting since then. Great California settings too.

I love those library sales! Great finds, for a great cause. Glad you found this book to add to your treasures.
