Sexy Dublin Shorts

Maxim Jakubowsk, former publisher and owner of the Murder One bookshop in London's Charing Cross Road, is releasing a series of four erotic fiction anthologies published at two-month intervals, featuring London, Paris, New York and Dublin as settings. The Dublin edition has a strong crime fiction undercurrent and is set for release in mid-September. It includes stories by Gerard Brennan, Ken Bruen, Colin Bateman, Sean Black, Stella Duffy and more. Brennan is on a roll, editing the recent Requiems for the Departed anthology, and he also just posted on his Crime Scene NI blog that he has a story in the upcoming Best British Crime anthology, volume 8 (for which Jakubowki is also serving as editor). Past volumes in that series have featured such notables as Colin Bateman, Christopher Brookmyre, Ken Bruen, David Hewson, Peter Lovesey, Ian Rankin, Stuart McBride, Anne Perry, Alexander McCall Smith and Andrew Taylor. Look for it around April in 2011.
