Gerard

Thank you for compiling and hosting.

Kelly Robinson

I actually have a first edition of Raffles like the one pictured. The cover art is so beautiful. I love criminal main characters -- Fantomas is my current obsession, though he's NO gentleman.

Thanks for rounding up the links. I'm still playing catch-up after my flu, but I'll read every one.

BV Lawson

My pleasure, Gerald. Max Allan Collins was a great choice for your FFB today.

A first edition, Kelly? You should hold on to that - sentimental value now, maybe some $$ value in the future! I think it's interesting to see a few similarities in Raffles and Holmes, making me wonder who borrowed from whom.

J F Norris

Mine is up: They Can't Hang Me by James Ronald. Here's the link--

(And you're welcome for the photo. I recognize that edition from my own library!)

Prashant Trikannad

Thank you very much for highlighting my post. I have a couple of ebooks by E.W . Hornung that I have been meaning to read. Frankly, I didn't kmow anything about the author till I read your review.

BV Lawson

Got it, John!

Richard R.

I've yet to try a Raffles, I fear they would seem and read pretty out of date these days.

BV Lawson

They are definitely outdated, Richard! Some writing of that era stands the test of time better than others, and I think this probably falls into the latter.
