This summer, residents and tourists in London have had an added treat with the addition of literary-themed benches, from Shakespeare to more modern times. Here are a few highlights from the project, which aims to raise money for the National Literacy Trust:
Sherlock Holmes (Arthur Conan Doyle)
Charles Dickens
James Bond (Ian Fleming)
Agatha Christie
Got to say the Bond bench is amazing! Whereabouts is it? I shall have to go and find it!
So far I have seen the Wind in the Willow bench, it was very pretty but hard to take a photo.

The Nat'l Literary Trust has a web page with all the benches and maps (and info about how you can bid on each one!):

This one is in Bloomsbury Square Gardens.

Thanks! I see that it is near the Agatha Christie bench, so I can see them both!
