New to me. I don't recognize any of the pseudonyms either. He'd be worth checking out for the Scottish social history. Was he published in the US? I'd check my Hubin but I'm at work now.

John, I don't believe his thrillers were ever taken up by a U.S. publisher. However, I'm not sure about the romance books he wrote under the pen name Jessica Stirling - which were wildly popular (and he wasn't officially unmasked as the author until 1999). Alas, he died in 2014, although I believe he had stopped writing sometime in the 1980s.
