Loved the anthologies when Davis publications was still (extant and) releasing them as magazine issues, and loved them in this transition period, after the sale to Dell Magazines, when they were places with quite a range of publishers rather than, after the initial set post-sale-to-Dell, continuing to be published in hardcover by Dell's hc imprint Delacorte.

MWA started reissuing some of its classic anthologies from Mystery Writers of America’s past, stretching back to 1946. Maybe Dell will consider the same, as well as bringing out new such print anthologies. Seems like they might sell pretty well, plus more exposure for the authors.
