Art Taylor

I'm a fan of this story and have taught it in intro lit classes, though admit I've not read more widely in Futrelle's work, unfortunately. Coincidentally, my wife and I are reading Ed Hoch's Sam Hawthorne stories, and one of those recently mentioned Cell 13 as well--Hoch's whole story a riff on that earlier one.

Thanks for the tip about Ed Hoch's story, Art! I'll definitely have to seek it out.

It was also adapted for an episode of “The Blacklist” — as the story is in the public domain, they didn’t have to give credit.

Ah, that's a series I really need to catch up on. Thanks for the tip!
